This month we had city staff join us for a discussion on the recently released CodeNext Draft Text.
We also kicked off our first attempt at satellite meetings. The regular meeting was primarily for folks willing to host satellite meetings elsewhere in District 6 on this topic in March. The CodeNext process can be complicated, so we want to ensure time for questions and answers that can be difficult to accomplish with more than 70 people packed into the library.

Newly-elected Austin City Council Member Jimmy Flannigan gave a review of the city's recent strategic planning efforts, an update on next steps for Anderson Mill Road, and a preview of the next round of citizen-led efforts for Duval Road and the Four Points area. There was also a group discussion about CodeNext.
